A case of fetal atrial flutter resolved spontaneously in utero

Abstract
Arrhythmias result-from abnormal automaticity, abnormal conduction, or combinations of both. , The estimated incidence of fetal tachyarrhythmias alone is one in 10,000 to 25,000 in the newborn infant. Atrial flutter is a relatively rare cause of.tachycardia in the fetus and newborn infant. Persistent fetal tachyarrhythimas is known to cause congestive heart failure, nonimmune fetal hydrops or even death of the fetus. We have experienced a case of fetal atrial flutter resolved spontaneously in utero. We present this case with brief review of literatures.
